IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, your role will focus on enabling and supporting employees throughout the Synpulse offices globally. You will be part of a global IT support team operating from three locations. You will also be a key individual in the Singapore office responsible for the daily IT functions and operations. As part of the role, you will also be the designated local administrator for key applications and cloud services utilized by Synpulse's global offices. Additionally, you will be required to participate in various global and local IT projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide IT support and training for end users 
  • Ensure that IT tickets are reviewed, actioned, and resolved in a timely manner 
  • Ensure that the local office IT infrastructure (e.g. printers, network, telephones, servers) is operational 
  • Gather and report enhancement and/or improvement action items during the IT operations meetings 
  • Assist with various HR processes (e.g. onboarding, offboarding) 
  • Assist with the creation and management of global IT documentation 
  • Assist with the local and global IT projects and initiatives

Requirements:
  • At least a Diploma in Information Technology or any other related field 
  • Actual Microsoft (cloud) certifications a huge plus
  • Proven experience as a help desk technician (2+ years)
  • Technical familiarity with the following products and technologies are a must: 
    •  Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System
    •  Microsoft Office Professional Suite (Office 365 Click-to-run) 
    •  Basic networking (WAN, LAN, WiFi, printers)
  • Technical familiarity with the following products and technologies will be an advantage: 
    •  Microsoft Office 365 applications and services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
    •  Microsoft Azure AD and other Azure applications and services
    •  Microsoft PowerShell
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Excellent written and spoken English 
  • Collaborative and takes initiative; self-motivated and driven; inquisitive self-learner
